I recently received a letter from the BLF, letting me know a tree has been dedicated in memory of Rayme. Kentle Wood, Daventry, Northhamptonshire. If you`d like to visit, the site is on the western edge of Daventry. Travel along the A45 Daventry bypass and where it meets the A425 take the minor road off the roundabout, heading NW into an industrial estate. Drive to the end on the tarmac road and park so as not to block any access. The wood is a short walk up the track (Browns Lane) beyond. The site was acquired by the Woodland Trust, who have planted 21,000 + broadleaf trees and shrubs. As you walk along the wood you get some great views, they say. When visiting the woods please note - in order to keep the woods as natural as possible, individual trees are not marked.
